Under the Mango Tree follows a clinic-run food program for people with mental illness in Northern Ghana. Shekhinah Clinic is one of the few healthcare facilities that welcomes those suffering from mental illness without judgement, mistreatment, or force, and they operate a meals-on-wheels style program that is a vital source of emergency food. DEEP RUN is the coming of age story of Cole, a gutsy transgender Christian youth growing up in rural North Carolina. It is an intimate exploration of a world of young outsiders in an insular Christian community. The harsh, gritty reality of their daily lives is tempered by their sense of humor and constant faith, which serves to keep them afloat amidst constant challenges. With a small community of supportive friends and relatives, and his girlfriend, Ashley, Cole creates his own extended family. His search for love and belonging leads him to a radical revision of what faith and a church can be.
