Writer/Director Christopher Farah will be traveling to Louisville for a special screening at the Dreamland Film Center on Tuesday January 22, sponsored by the UM Club of Louisville and the Louisville Film Society. He’ll be on hand for a Q&A following the film and maybe a few other surprises TBA..
Made in partnership with the University of Michigan, “Answer This!” is the first movie that the University has ever lent its name to. This is also the first film that’s ever shot a scene in Michigan Stadium during a live football game – U-M’s 2009 win over Western Michigan University.
A brilliant trivia whiz, Paul Tarson (Christopher Gorham) is great at answering life’s little questions, but horrible at answering the big ones – like what’s he going to do after grad school? Set at the University of Michigan in the world of competitive pub trivia, “Answer This!” is the story of a boy finally coming of age – when he’s 30.
Writer/Director Christopher Farah has worked in entertainment, served as a foreign correspondent in the Middle East and spent at least one summer cutting meat in a deli. He has written and directed a bunch of cool stuff for the website Funny Or Die, including “RoboCop Speaks to Detroit” and “The Big Lebowski 2,” and his first web show “Sexy Talk with Dirty Jay” was nominated for a Webby Award for best comedy series. As a journalist, he has written for publications such as The New York Times, Salon.com, and The Jerusalem Report, and was assistant editor at Foreign Affairs Magazine. An Ann Arbor native who holds a Bachelors and a Masters from the University of Michigan and another Masters from Columbia University, this is his first feature film.
